Porta Romana recommend 'warm white' CFL's as we feel they give the most similar quality of light to the current GLS bulbs at a colour temperature of approx 2800k. CFL's use approximately a fifth of the wattage of a traditional bulb to produce the same amount of light. The chart below provides the CFL we recommend for our style of shade. References used are from the Megaman website, Megaman supply a wide range of CFL's. The reference given can be typed into the search engine on their website bringing up the correct bulb.
